Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Practice Lead

LeapPoint is seeking an AEM Practice Lead to deliver on our vision of Connected Work™, where we help clients understand, design, and build a connected ecosystem of platforms that drive hyper-personalization, data-driven decisions, and successful outcomes. In this role, you will lead a team of AEM Architects and Developers, oversee the delivery of high-impact AEM Solution implementations, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. You will drive technical excellence, shape practice strategy, and ensure alignment with Adobe’s MarTech ecosystem, fostering growth for both our clients and our company.

As an AEM Practice Lead at LeapPoint, you will have the opportunity for:
- Practice Leadership: define and execute the strategic vision for the AEM Services practice, including service offerings, delivery methodologies, and team development
- Project Oversight: lead end-to-end delivery of AEM Solutions, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client goals; manage scope, risks, and resources effectively
- Client Engagement: act as a senior consultant and subject matter expert, advising clients on AEM best practices, digital transformation strategies, and integration with Adobe Experience Cloud (e.g., Analytics, Target, Campaign)
- Team Management: mentor and grow a high-performing team of AEM professionals, fostering technical expertise, collaboration, and career development
- Solution Design: architect scalable, robust AEM solutions tailored to client needs, including powerful features such as multi-site and multi-channel delivery, personalization/ targeting, content aggregation & syndication, multi-lingual support, automated workflow management, social media, etc.
- Business Development: collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities, craft proposals, and pitch AEM solutions to prospective clients.
- Innovation & Standards: stay ahead of AEM and Adobe MarTech trends, driving adoption of new features (e.g., AEM as a Cloud Service, Edge Delivery Services) and establishing reusable frameworks or accelerators
- Partnerships: strengthen relationships with Adobe and other technology partners to enhance our practice capabilities and certifications.
The following skills will set you up for success:
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solution design and implementation with a deep understanding of what is possible within the system
- 3+ years in a leadership or practice lead role within a consulting or professional services environment
- Proven track record of delivering complex AEM projects for enterprise clients in Adobe 6.5 or higher and AEMaaCS
- AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS)
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles
- Familiarity in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle
- Deep expertise in AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and integrations with Adobe Experience Cloud tools
- Proficiency in Java, OSGi, Sling, HTL, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
- Experience working with or configuring Workfront is preferred
- Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and business acumen
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Certifications: Adobe Certified Expert or Master in AEM (Architect, Developer, or Business Practitioner) highly desirable
Travel: This position may require approximately 10-20% travel
Compensation & Benefits:
- The base salary for this role is $190,000 - $225,000. Compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated results as an AEM Practice Lead
